Review: All Eyez On Me – The Movie

So I watched All Eyez On Me over the weekend and I have not had peace, I do not understand why I keep pondering over the choices Tupac made while he was alive and I also kept pitying the guy and was also heartbroken over his death. I’m like which one is my own in this matter, I live in Nigeria, I was not even old enough to grasp his music when he was alive, so what is my own?

Generally, most of the critics could only give the movie a 2 star but I agree with just one of the critic that said the story managed to feel rush and stretched, I agree because we did not get see so much of childhood as that part was rush, however, his interview period at the Clinton Correctional Facility in 1995 was stretched.

With that said, I give the movie a 7 Star, who cares that how I feel.

How I see Tupac now:

Tupac was a very smart man, book smart and street smart and he was a raised to understand that there are bad  and good choices, this was man that choose to stay away from hard drugs (cocaine) all his life, he barely womanized compared to other artists (Judging by the movie I was not there), though he sent to jail for sexual harassment which was totally not the truth (na setup).  But the truth is that Tupac was not smart when it came to making decisions about his career, finances, and thug life. His ego made him a thug in my opinion and that was his end. Not being able to see things from another point view.

Life Lesson: Not everyone is against and not everyone is out to get you. Listen more and talk less.
