The TECNO Blue Squad Football Clinic which have enjoyed massive media presence for the past few weeks, with the sole aim of plucking young players from obscurity and making their dreams of becoming professional footballers, has kicked-off.
This TECNO BLUE SQUAD project from TECNO will give young aspiring footballers in Nigeria the opportunity to compete and get the chance to be trained by world class coaches in the UK for five days.
Today at the Federal College of Education’s Astro turf, Akoka, Lagos, were over 400 kids from across Nigeria who participated in the one-day TECNO Blue Squad football Clinic. These kids who are talented in football were exposed to different modern football tactics by renowned coaches.
The participating kids who are full of energy and skills expressed their happiness for the opportunity giving to them to be part of the one day Football clinic.
There are plans by the mobile phone brand to sponsor about 15 African kids talented in football to an all-expense paid trip to the United Kingdom on August 23th for a Football clinic.
