Ambode commissions 3 executive boats, 4 Jet Skis – So the Lagos state government recently commissioned 3 Executive boats and 4 Jet skis,  He said the boats and Jet Skis recently acquired by the State Government to ensure safety and fight crime on the waterways were prelude to major plans to fully activate the potentials of water transportation, while in coming months, the State Government would take delivery of additional seven commercial ferries, among other plans for the sector.

According to him, “This is a significant day for Lagos State as we commission three boats belonging to the Lagos State Government. We discovered that sometimes, we do not have the ability for our officials to go on the waterways to address issues relating to people and citizens that live alongside the waterways.

Hopefully, we won’t see them trying to run us over with sirens on water like they on land.

Syringe Manufacturing Company JSM Commissioned In Akwa Ibom Nigeria,

JSM Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company was commissioned by the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the company’s staff is 90% Nigerian which is over the 70% bar given by the Nigerian government to investors looking to start a company in Nigeria, the company intends to produce 300-400 million syringes annually which more than the number South Africa currently does.

Kaduna Electric Donates N100m Transformer to Danfodiyo Varsity

The Kaduna Electricity Distribution Plc has donated a 7.5 MVA power transformer worth about N100 million to the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
Speaking during the inauguration of the power transformer at the main campus of the university in Sokoto at the weekend, the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Garba Haruna, said the donation was made to address the challenge of power outage being faced by the university, following the damage of its transformer a few months ago.

Video of purported Atiku’s declaration for 2019 is fake — Former VP

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has distanced himself from a fake video purporting to be a formal declaration of his intent to contest the 2019 presidential election. Reacting to the fake video which is now in circulation, the former Vice President speaking through his media office in Abuja, said the video is a bad job of bad people with bad intentions.

According to Atiku, some mischief makers are using a video clip extracted from his 2011 presidential declaration to create a false impression that he had formally declared for the 2019 presidential election.
