Lazy News With Oye – Akwa Ibom Launches Airline & Other News

Akwa Ibom Launches Airline

Did you know that the Akwa Ibom government just unveiled its airline known has Ibom Air. In addition, the state employed & trained 400 indigenous people.

An indigene of the state in the aviation sector said that the launch of the airline was a culmination of the aspiration of the state to play a significant role in the nation’s aviation industry. He noted that the state was the first and the only state that planned to build maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, which is still on-going and trained so many of its youths in different fields of aviation.

OYE: Given the terrible state of maintenance culture in Nigeria, how long do you think this airline will stand the test of time?

I also think this move is towards the 2019 election, which is playbook of the average Nigerian politician towards election period.

Why we invaded Daily Trust offices, by Army

The Nigerian Army says it invaded the offices of Daily Trust Newspapers offices in Maiduguri and Abuja to invite the organisation’s journalists responsible for the publication of a classified military operation plans.

The army admitted invading the newspapers’ offices in a statement by its spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman.

Usman explained the disclosure of such classified information by the newspaper undermined national security hence its reporters responsible were being invited for questioning.

According to him, the invitation is for further investigation and if need be, all those culpable of jeopardising operations security will be prosecuted by the relevant law enforcement agency.

OYE: if this story is true, I’m on the side of the Army, how can you make a report about the plans of the army to invade Boko Haram’s camp. Who are you for the Army or the terrorist?
