PDP Has Resolved To Change its Name
PM News reported that the decision of the party for a change of name was taken on Saturday night. The party noted that the move was pre-emptive to prevent the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from tagging it as corrupt. Many of the party’s stalwarts have been worried by how the ruling APC had successfully branded the party as corrupt in the eyes of Nigerians and admitted that a rebranding was imperative to mount a successful challenge in 2019.
Oye – How can the PDP say that, they are rebranding because the APC has made Nigerians tag them as corrupt. HOW? Even the APC is corrupt. Nearly, all Nigerian politicians are corrupt. These mf are tripping.
THE FACES OF REAL THIEVES (The dismissed SARS operatives)
The Nigeria police have sacked four operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS in Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria and arraigned them in court over cases of armed robbery, kidnapping, unlawful detention, intimidation and threatening of violence.
“The petitioner in his petition stated that on the 4th of June 2017, he was in his house around Alagbado, Lagos when the four armed men stormed his house to effect his arrest on the allegation of performing ‘fake’ miracles. He stated that after his arrest, he was taken to one hotel in Agege where he was detained and threatened to be killed if he failed to cooperate.
“He explained further that on the following day, 5th June 2017, he was taken to a bank where he was made to transfer seven million Naira to one of the operative’s account. On the receipt of the petition, the AIG ordered Investigation into the case.
OYE – While I’m happy about this development, grapevine info that the petitioner knows the AIG, what happens to the average person that knows no one? The young & tall secondary school boy waiting to get into a tertiary institution that is picked up on the street because he does not have an ID? This arm of the police should be DISSOLVED or completely REFORMED
OSUN DECIDES
Ademola Adeleke popularly known as the Dancing Senator and who also happens to be an uncle of Nigerian singer Davido, has won the PDP governorship primary in Osun state and will be flying the party’s governorship flag in the state governorship election on September 22nd this year.
Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola has been declared winner of the Osun All Progressives Congress governorship primary.

Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling APC, Comrade Timi Frank, has said that the ‘promises of oil-well and automatic tickets to some leaders of r-APC by the presidency’ won’t stop their planned defection in a matter of days.
He, however, declared that about five governors, 30 serving Senators and 135 House of Representatives members will all dump APC soon, assuring that there is no going back in their plan to stand by Nigerians who have asked them to leave.
