The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has said that President Muhammadu Buhari deserved a second term because, in the past three and half years, he has impacted positively in the lives of Nigerians.
According to him, The President has
- leveraged his legendary integrity and acumen in managing resources both human and materials to reinvent governance.
- Delivered on the three campaign promises he made which were, fighting corruption, tackling insecurity and revamping the economy.
- He has rebranded governance and put the country on the path of sustainable growth and development.
- He is ensuring that the people do not loot the common resources and ensuring that Nigeria is self-sufficient in food production.
INEC – 2019 Polls Will be Credible, Transparent
The Chairman, Planning, Monitoring and Strategic Committee of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr. Mohammad Lecky, has said that the commission is poised to conduct credible, transparent and rancour free 2019 general election, which will be far better and more effective than the previous elections in the country.
He made the assertion on Monday in Kano at the opening of a three-day capacity building training for 95 states’ officers drawn from 36 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on implementers of election master trainers.
