Sounds of the other side Album by Wizkid was dropped July 14, 2017, yes we already know a few singles from the album like Daddy Yo, Sweet Love, Comer Closer etc but below is a review on other songs from the album
Wizkid ft Trey Songs – Gbese: beat sounds like Daddy yo, that reggae beat. Sadly, I’m not really a fan.
Wizkid ft Ty Dolla – One for me: It has the Nice Caribbean feel that takes you back to the sean paul days a little bit of that reggae but with a Caribbean feel. It’s a chill laid back song, its, however better than Gbese if you are not into reggae like me.
Wizkid ft Ty Dolla – Dutty Wine: this is a western sound and it is great and yeah. However, this was not made for our market but the chorus got me whining from side to side.
Wizkid – All for love: From the first note of this track, I fell in love with the whole South African Vibe but some of the lines into wizzy verse didn’t do justice to the beat, I like the fact that he was trying to incorporate his language into this but some parts of it didn’t cut it. The lady’s vocals on this track is the IT factor for the track but the end of the song sort of grew on me a bit, so maybe I need cut the jam a lil slack.
Wizkid – Nobody: this was good, asides the confused auto-tune of his voice on the chorus or maybe he was singing from his nostrils ( I’m not sure), surprisingly, this track is really good and just maybe the ladies will feel this. But I can’t get over the screech or auto-tone on the chorus
Wizkid – Sexy: My head just started moving to the beat the moment I heard this beat. Afrobeat magic be working,
some sort of Fela inspiration going on here. this could be my jam.
Wizkid – Picture Perfect: The beat, lyrics, rhythm, wizzy on the track – 100
This is the best track on this Mixtape in my opinion. There is that slow vibe that just makes you want to make love I think. However, the song is great. Wizzy yeah you right this my favourite song .. On repeat already
